I. Course Description:
The aim of this course is to introduce features of the Auto Cad 2007 and methods of operating Auto Cad 2007. Introduce the construction of 2D drawing in 2D drafting.
II. Course Objectives:
At the end of the course, students should be able to:
1. introduce to the basic commands and features of Auto Cad.
2. identify the tool bars in 2D Auto Cad.
3. draw exercises related to Auto Cad.
III. Course Content:
A. Introduction to Auto Cad:
1. Introduce the basics of 2D Auto Cad.

2. Identify the tool bars in 2D Auto Cad.
- Menu bar
- Standard toolbar
- Layers toolbar
- Properties toolbar
- Zoom toolbar
- Draw toolbar
- Modify toolbar
3. Draw exercises in Auto Cad.
- Exercise no.1 and no. 2- draw using line tool.
- Exercise no.3 and no. 4 – draw using circle tool.
- Exercise no.5 – Apply array on the object
- Exercise no. 6 – Apply array and offset on the object
- Exercise no. 7 apply mirror on the object.
- Exercise no.8- apply fillet on the object.
- Exercise no.9 – apply chamfer on the object.

Scaffold
1. Exercise no.1 and no. 2- draw using line tool.
2. Exercise no.3 and no. 4 – draw using circle tool.
