This course is an integration of Algebra, Business Mathematics and Logic. This learning area is designed to provide a general background for the understanding of Mathematics.
At the end of the course, students should be able to:
- apply logic to real-life situations in solving problems involving rational, exponential and logarithmic functions in business-related problems;
- appreciate mathematics as an essential aspect of day-to-day living; and
- work well with others in a group.
