Course Description:

This course is an integration of Algebra, Business Mathematics and Logic. This learning area is designed to provide a general background for the understanding of Mathematics.

Course Objectives:

 At the end of the course, students should be able to:

  1. apply logic to real-life situations in solving problems involving rational, exponential and logarithmic functions in business-related problems;     
  2. appreciate mathematics as an essential aspect of day-to-day living; and
  3. work well with others in a group.
