SECOND QUARTER
Course Description:The learner demonstrates an understanding of nutrition; prevention and control of diseases and disorders; substance use and abuse; and injury prevention, safety and first aid, leading to the achievement of optimum health and well-being.
I.OBJECTIVES
At the end of the quarter , the learner will be able to:
A.describe communicable disease;
B.identify various disease agents of communicable diseases;
C.describe how communicable diseases can be transmitted from one person to another;
D.demostrate ways on how to stay healthy;
E.prevent and control common communicable diseases;
F.identify ways on how to break the chain of infection and
G.practice personal habits and environmental sanitation to prevent and control communicable diseases.
