Course Title: Wood Working

I. Course Description:
Aims to acquaint you with the tools and equipment used in woodworking and the safety practices involved. Suggested sample projects are presented for you to apply the knowledge on the basic operations in Woodworking.
II. Course Objectives:
At the end of the course, students should be able to:
- Appreciate safety procedures when working in the shop.
- Understand the background of Woodworking.
- Identify the Tools and Materials used in Woodworking.
- Perform the basic operations in Woodworking.
- Make a lay out of the Folding Table.
- Cut the first part of the Folding Table (32 inches wood).
III. Course Content:
1. Appreciate safety procedures when working in the shop.

2. Understand the background of Woodworking.
General Industry

Show the students the whole shop area.
3. Identify the Tools and Materials used in Woodworking.

4. Perform the basic operations in Woodworking.
Perform basic operations in Woodworking.
5. Make a lay out of the Folding Table.
Make a layout plan of the Folding Table in a Bond paper.
6. Cut the first part of the Folding Table (32 inches wood).
